Gulf Medical University (GMU), Ajman – U.A.E. hosted the GMU MASE – Annual and Medical Science Exhibition . The objective to host the grand event was to provide a platform for the upcoming students to display their talents in the field of medicine and science and to provide a fair chance and create a competitive environment for students to come out with excellent results. The annual science exhibition held by the Gulf Medical Univerity took place on two consecutive days, May 20th and May 21st. The science exhibition procured a wide range of innovative science projects in fields ranging from biotechnology to eco technology to hydraulics to advancements in electrical and astronomical technology. Not only did the Gulf Medical School host a science exhibition but also organized an interschool poster-making art competition depicting the young imagination of the students in topics from 'Nature around you' to 'A healthy living'. The grand event was attended to full capacity by more than 3000 students from around 200 schools. Students from 51 schools from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah with special interest and talent in the field of medical and sciences showcased their innovative project work, posters and paintings. Apart from the handmade models/displays by the high school students, posters and audio visual presentations were conspicuously displayed. Around 176 scientific projects and 53 creative posters/wall charts were displayed by the participating students. In addition to these events, a Painting Competition was held. For absolute viewing pleasure, a total of 101 paintings were on display. The creative lot of DPS Sharjah did a great, wonderful and spectacular job painting pictures with deep moralistic and ethical values.Whereas, the innovative lot of our students presented various projects and ideas in the fields of astronomy to drones to eco-friendly tech. The experience for first-timers as well as experienced students was one with a lot of anticipation, excitement and high hopes. Not only was it educative but also was an interactive exhibit as various students from schools all over UAE were viewing the exhibits and gaining more knowledge in various fields of science.
